linggo ng wika celebration
whoo!! all i can say about this day was that it drained all my energy. my day went like this..
as usual, i woke up at around 5am..took a bath..dressed up..waited for my school bus..it was actually kind of late..anyway, after arriving in school, i put down my bags, turned anna luz's chair and put my feet up to read the current book i'm reading which is code to zero..i like the book..it's about a NASA scientist who loses his memory..ah basta..it may sound boring but in reality it's not..basta basahin niyo nalang!! moving on..we had a quiz in chem kanina..thank god and i aced it..grabe!! magpapakamatay nako pag hindi ko pa na-ace yun..after chem..we practiced for awit for a bit and then changed into our costumes na..we went down to the avr at around 9:10am..btw, the malong that i used kanina was ms. osila's!! la lang..i'm not even sure pero kasi as i was passing by her i said "hi" and she said "parang kilala ko yan malong na yan ah!" so ayun..we were the first ones to go down o the avr..woohoo! go kagitingan!! like all the activities in school it started with a prayer which was led by my very good friend, nicole villamor(oh the deception!hehe) it was followed by the introduction of the judges..after that, the competitions started..the first was the creative story category..followed by the talumpati thing..followed by skit and then awit..grabe! i can't describe what i was feeling bago magstart yung performance namin..calm na parang ninenerbiyos..labo..anyway, i totally screwed up..minimal facial expressions, i sang some of the notes off-key, i forgot some of the lyrics sa second song namin..grabe!! pero masaya siya ah! in fairness!! fortunately, we won one category, the creative story..go carmina!! ayun! ang nanalo sa talumpati, si jade sison. sa skit, kamalayan..grabe sayang talaga yung atin, kagitingan! super ganda sana!! go hannah!! hindi ako si josephine bracken!! haha..galing!!..sa awit, kalayaan..and yung sa second song thing, kamalayan..haha..go arielle!! ayun! so after nun, we went up, changed back into our pe uniform, ate lunch for about 20 mins. and had classes again..during the last 3 periods i was sooo sleepy i could have cared less if i had dozed off to sleep while listening to ms malayas..that's how tired i was..
